Dixie Roundup Rodeo on September 16th, 17th, and 18th 2021

Updated: Sep 9, 2021

Use the above sign-up genius to schedule your evening. We need to make sure we have enough volunteers please sign up by the 15th!

Hi Friends,

Our Annual Fundraiser is coming up with the Dixie Roundup Rodeo on

September 16th, 17th, and 18th 2021.

Apart from last year, we’ve had the opportunity to make and sell snow cones at the Rodeo for the past 25 years and all the proceeds raised goes toward Diabetes Camps for our kids.

This has been a fun event for families to come together, serve the community and raise money

for WCDYA.

As you know this organization has been run by parent volunteers. I myself

have been involved for the past 20 years and have enjoyed the friendships and

community diabetic support. This is why our diabetes camps are so essential, not

just for parents but for our kids who are dealing with this disease every day.

We need volunteers! To make this fundraiser successful we need both kids and

parents helping at this event. Your services would include helping to make

and sell snow cones for one night at the rodeo. All proceeds will go towards

helping pay for a portion of your child’s cost at camp. This camp is normally held

the first weekend in May, and we anticipate seeing everyone back May 2022.

Use the above sign-up genius to schedule your evening. We need to make sure we have enough volunteers so please sign up by the 15. We have two snow cone stations. The Southwest Health Department requires we have at least one individual with a food handlers permit at each station and shift. The WCDYA will reimburse cost when you obtain a food handlers permit to use for the Rodeo.
