Fundraiser Information
Hi Friends,
Our Annual Fundraiser is coming up with the Dixie Roundup Rodeo on September 19th, 20th and 21st 2019. Every year we have the opportunity to sell snow cones at the Rodeo and all the money raised helps pay for diabetes camps. This is a fun time of year for our kids because they have the chance to meet up with old camp friends, serve the community and raise money for WCDYA.
We need volunteers, both kids and parents, to make this a successful fund raiser. Your service would include helping to make and sell snow cones for one night at the Rodeo. In exchange for your time of service we will pay for half the cost of camp for your child. The cost of the Zion Ponderosa Camp is $160.00. If you will donate one night of service to the Rodeo the cost of camp will be $80.00 for your child. We had a great camp this year and want to make sure we can continue to offer this camp for our kids. So please don’t let your kids miss out on this great opportunity.
Please contact Jessica Jones at jessjonesslp@yahoo.com , to schedule the evening you would like to volunteer for by September 10th. We need adult volunteers and anyone with a food handler permit. Each night we need to have 2 adults at each station along with a food handler permit for each station. So if you have one please let us know so we can arrange each night accordingly.
